The NFL Draft is approaching and the Bears are on the clock with the first overall pick.
While that selection isn’t expected to carry much drama—USC QB Caleb Williams is a -20000 favorite to be picked first overall at FanDuel—figuring out which team will win next year’s Super Bowl certainly will.
Ahead of the 2024 NFL Draft, which is being held in Detroit from April 25–27, let’s take a look at the Super Bowl odds for every team to see how sportsbooks view their chance of winning the Lombardi Trophy today versus after the draft.
Big trades tend to happen on draft night so it’s important to be informed on how those moves, and the rookies each team picks, are viewed by oddsmakers in relation to each team’s projected success.
Here are the odds via FanDuel Sportsbook, starting from worst to first.
2025 Super Bowl OddsCarolina Panthers 2025 Super Bowl Odds +30000
The Panthers moved up in last year’s draft to select Bryce Young with the first overall pick. That cost them their first-round pick this season, which became the No. 1 overall pick the Bears currently possess. Young had a forgetful first season, and the Panthers have a new coach and GM along with a plethora of other holes to fill. They’re +710 to make the playoffs, so no one expects them to do much of anything this season, and certainly not compete for a Super Bowl.
New England Patriots 2025 Super Bowl Odds +18000
A new era is being ushered in with Bill Belichick out as head coach/GM. He left behind a team without a quarterback and devoid of skill talent across the offense. Former Pats star linebacker Jared Mayo is now in charge of the team and should keep the Pats defense in strong running order. They also have the No. 3 overall pick to play with. Whether they select a QB there or trade back remains a question. Either way, they’re the bottom feeders of a stacked AFC East with +920 odds to even make the postseason.
Denver Broncos 2025 Super Bowl Odds +15000
After cutting Russell Wilson and eating the most dead cap space in NFL history as a result, the Broncos are in full rebuild mode. Coach Sean Payton is creating his own vision of how this team operates moving forward, but what that is remains cloudy. There’s talent on offense and defense, but not much depth. Jarrett Stidham and Ben DiNucci are the only QBs currently on the roster. No wonder their playoff odds are +630. Hard to see this team winning much this coming season, but what they do in the NFL Draft will be interesting to watch.
Washington Commanders 2025 Super Bowl Odds +15000
The Commanders actually have talented players on offense like Terry McClaurin, Brian Robinson Jr. and now Austin Ekler. They just don’t have a quarterback. That will change when Washington makes its decision with the No. 2 overall pick. Whether they select Jayden Daniels, Drake Maye or someone else, don’t expect that rookie to turn them into Super Bowl contenders. Maybe they surprise people and make a playoff push (current odds +300). But real contention is still at least another year away.
Tennessee Titans 2025 Super Bowl Odds +13000
There was a ton of turnover in Tennessee this offseason, with head coach Mike Vrabel being fired, superstar running back Derrick Henry leaving in free agency and QB Ryan Tannehill remaining unsigned. That trio led the Titans to the No. 1 seed in the AFC in 2021, but the team has regressed since. Now they have to rebuild with second-year quarterback Will Levis remaining a question mark. Give the Titans credit for spending this offseason though, as they added Calvin Ridley, Tony Pollard and DeAndre Hopkins in free agency and Chiefs cornerback L'Jarius Sneed in a trade. But even with those moves, they still have +420 odds to make the playoffs. If Levis can improve considerably, this team could surprise.
New York Giants 2025 Super Bowl Odds +10000
The Giants regressed across the board last season and still have Daniel Jones as their starting quarterback. That could change based on what the Giants do in the draft (they have the No. 6 pick), but even if they pick a QB, that won’t alter their Super Bowl odds. They’re expected to have a strong defense led by Dexter Lawrence, Kayvon Thibodeaux and newly acquired Brian Burns. Last year, that unit kept them competitive. But Saquon Barkley is gone and the QB situation isn’t strong enough to compete for a Super Bowl.
Arizona Cardinals 2025 Super Bowl Odds +10000
The Cardinals were more competitive last season than many expected, but the question marks at quarterback remain. Kyler Murray can be electric, but he also gets injured often and is erratic at times. The Cardinals also have limited talent around him on offense. Playing in the competitive NFC West doesn’t help. They have the No. 4 pick in the draft and what they do with that, or whether they trade back, is worth watching. As for their Super Bowl odds, don’t expect them to get better this season.
Minnesota Vikings 2025 Super Bowl Odds +8500
Kirk Cousins left in free agency and the Vikings haven’t done much to address the QB position since. There’s talk of them trying to move up and pick a QB in the draft, but even if they do their Super Bowl odds won’t change much. It’s weird to see them at the bottom of the odds to win the NFC North (+750), but with the Lions and Packers as clear leaders and the Bears having a deeper team and the No. 1 pick, you understand why the oddsmakers have them as longshots to do anything positive this coming season.
New Orleans Saints 2025 Super Bowl Odds +8500
The Saints narrowly missed the playoffs last year, getting edged by the Bucs to win the NFC South in a tiebreaker. They return much of the core of that team, but clearly oddsmakers aren’t impressed with that group of players. In fact, they believe the Saints will be the second-worst team in arguably the worst division in football. They have +168 odds to make the playoffs, and two picks in the top 50 of this year’s NFL Draft. This could be an undervalued team, though I wouldn’t touch those Super Bowl odds.
Las Vegas Raiders 2025 Super Bowl Odds +8000
Antonio Pierce is the new head coach in Las Vegas, but who is the Raiders' starting QB? The NFL Draft might help answer that. As of now, it’s Aidan O'Connell and Gardner Minshew. Neither is leading this team very far, even with Davante Adams and Maxx Crosby anchoring it.
Seattle Seahawks 2025 Super Bowl Odds +7500
The Pete Carroll era is over in Seattle. Left behind are Geno Smith, DK Metcalf, and several other talented skill-position players on offense, but little talent on defense. Seattle has the 16th pick in the draft, which could help bolster the defense. But they’re +194 to make the playoffs with a tough road ahead in a division led by the Rams and 49ers. Expect this to be a down year in Seattle.
Indianapolis Colts 2025 Super Bowl Odds +5500
Anthony Richardson flashed brilliance as a rookie QB before a right shoulder injury, which required surgery, ended his season. It’s always scary when a QB gets surgery on his throwing shoulder, and the Colts have plenty of questions on defense too after having one of the worst defensive units in the league last year. Their odds to make the playoffs are +156. They have three picks in the top 85 of this year’s draft. But their season hinges on Richardson’s health and growth.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers 2025 Super Bowl Odds +5500
Baker Mayfield had a resurgent year with the Bucs and led them to the playoffs. He re-signed this offseason, as did WR Mike Evans. They’re +290 to win the AFC South again, behind the Falcons, and +146 to make the playoffs. They have four picks in the top 100 of the NFL draft to help bolster those chances, but winning a Super Bowl seems out of reach unless Tom Brady walks back through that door.
Pittsburgh Steelers 2025 Super Bowl Odds +5000
Russell Wilson and Justin Fields were brought in to compete for the starting QB job, though it sounds like Wilson will come in as the leader. Neither instills confidence this team could win the Super Bowl, but they should remain competitive as always under Mike Tomlin. They’re +750 to win the AFC South and +172 to make the playoffs. Would it surprise anyone if they hit at least one of those?
Los Angeles Chargers 2025 Super Bowl Odds +5000
The Justin Herbert hype train got derailed last year as he and the Chargers failed to live up to expectations of even playoff contention. That led to Brandon Staley being fired as head coach and Jim Harbaugh taking over. Harbaugh has had instant success everywhere he’s coached before. The Chargers also have three picks in the top 70 of the NFL Draft. No wonder the Chargers are -108 to make the playoffs. As for the Super Bowl, they’re still likely another year away from contending, especially playing in the same division as Patrick Mahomes.
Chicago Bears 2025 Super Bowl Odds +4500
The Bears, as mentioned above, are expected to draft former Heisman winner Caleb Williams to be their franchise cornerstone with the No. 1 overall pick. They also have the No. 9 pick in the draft and plenty of talent on offense highlighted by newly aquired WR Keenan Allen and RB D’Andre Swift and incumbent star WR DJ Moore. Realistic expectations based on -105 odds to make the playoffs indicate this team should be competitive but is likely a year or two away from being true contenders.
Jacksonville Jaguars 2025 Super Bowl Odds +4500
Based on the Texans' success last season and the Jags' regression, it feels like the window is already closing on QB Trevor Lawrence and coach Doug Pederson to reach the expectations they had coming into last season after winning a playoff game in 2023. Lawrence needs to take a step forward and the team needs to nail the draft to get back on track. That means making the playoffs and maybe winning the division, though their respective odds of +124 and +270 suggest it’s more likely than not they fall short. Most of that hinges on Lawrence.
Cleveland Browns 2025 Super Bowl Odds +4000
Deshaun Watson hasn’t lived up to expectations since joining the Browns in 2022, but the Browns have all the makings of a true contender. Their defense can be dominant behind the lead of Myles Garrett and their offense has a great combination of smashmouth running and possession-heavy receiving. The quarterback position seems to be the one thing holding them back. They’re currently +500 to win the AFC North behind the Bengals and Ravens and +144 to make the playoffs. The latter seems like an interesting wager at plus-odds.
Los Angeles Rams 2025 Super Bowl Odds +3200
The Rams surprised oddsmakers by making the playoffs last season after starting the year as underdogs to reach the postseason. QB Matt Stafford had a resurgent year and has two of the best wide receivers in the game in Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp. Aaron Donald retired this offseason, however, leaving an irreplaceable void in the middle of that defense. They’re second in the odds to win the NFC West at +350 and +110 to make the playoffs. Sean McVay always seems to find a way though, doesn't he?
New York Jets 2025 Super Bowl Odds +2700
Aaron Rodgers returns after his 2023 season ended four snaps in due to a torn Achilles. The Jets’ success, as was evident without him last year, hinges on how he performs in that return. They have a great defense and several talented skill position players. They also hold the No. 10 pick in the draft. They’re third in the AFC East odds (+240) behind the Dolphins and Bills, though they’re slight favorites to make the playoffs (-115). Their Super Bowl odds seem a bit short given the questions at QB.
Atlanta Falcons 2025 Super Bowl Odds +2400
No team’s Super Bowl odds moved more this offseason than the Falcons' after signing Kirk Cousins in free agency. He’s coming off a torn Achilles and hasn’t had much postseason success, but oddsmakers believe he makes Atlanta a true contender. With as much talent on offense as they have and with Arthur Blank no longer there to hold them back, there’s reason to believe the Falcons can make the playoffs. At -260 odds, they’re expected to do so.
Miami Dolphins 2025 Super Bowl Odds +2300
The Dolphins started hot and faded as the weather cooled last season, culminating in an embarrassing playoff beatdown against the Chiefs in sub-freezing temperatures. It still appears oddsmakers believe they’re contenders as they have -166 odds to make the playoffs. They have the 21st and 55th picks in this year’s draft, which won’t move their odds, but could help them compete for the AFC East and more. That is if QB Tua Tagovailoa can stay healthy, of course.
Green Bay Packers 2025 Super Bowl Odds +1900
The Packers made some noise in the playoffs last season, upsetting the Cowboys in the first round and nearly beating the 49ers in the second round. QB Jordan Love showcased immense potential in his first season as a full-time starter and the Packers signed former NFL rushing champion Josh Jacobs in free agency. The Packers have three picks in the top 60 and will need to fill some holes on the offensive line and wide receiver. But this team is expected to contend this year with -168 odds to make the playoffs.
Philadelphia Eagles 2025 Super Bowl Odds +1600
Jalen Hurts and the Eagles took a step back last season after making it to the Super Bowl two years ago. All-Pro center Jason Kelce retired, leaving a big hole in the middle of that offense, and the Eagles lost several key defensive players as well. While this is a team in transition in many ways, they’re still among the most talented in the league and GM Howie Roseman always seems to make a big or smart move during the draft. They have the power to do it again with three picks in the top 55.
Houston Texans 2025 Super Bowl Odds +1600
CJ Stroud stunned everyone (oddsmakers included) by leading the Texans to the playoffs last season after starting the year with some of the lowest odds to win the Super Bowl in the league. Now they’re -180 to make the playoffs and the favorite to win the AFC South at +105. Those numbers make sense, but their Super Bowl odds seem a bit short given teams will now be better prepared to face their outstanding quarterback. With no first-round pick, don’t expect to see these go anywhere other than back until Week 1.
Dallas Cowboys 2025 Super Bowl Odds +1500
Dak Prescott and the Cowboys suffered another humbling playoff loss at home this past postseason, but oddsmakers know they can’t make the Cowboys too big of longshots. No, this is a team sure to bring in the bets, even if they haven’t won a title since the '90s. There are a lot of issues for Dallas, including Prescott being in a contract year and things unsettled for CeeDee Lamb and Micah Parsons on the contract front. But there’s talent across the board and three picks in the top 100 to add to it. The Cowboys are -245 to make the playoffs and the favorites to win the NFC East at +120 odds.
Buffalo Bills 2025 Super Bowl Odds +1300
Stefon Diggs is gone and so is Gabe Davis. This offense will look different this season, but as long as Josh Allen is under center the Bills have a chance. It will be interesting to see what Buffalo does with the No. 28 and No. 60 picks in the draft as they have the aforementioned holes to fill at receiver plus the loss of many key defenders. The Falcons are the favorites to win the AFC East at +150 odds and -188 to make the playoffs. Oddsmakers like them, but their Super Bowl odds seem a bit short given the question marks on both sides of the ball.
Detroit Lions 2025 Super Bowl Odds +1300
The Lions return the bulk of the team that nearly won the NFC championship before falling just short against the 49ers. Jared Goff gets a lot of flack for not being the most flashy quarterback in the league, but he’s played in the Super Bowl before and has helped transform the Lions from laughing stock to legit contenders. Their biggest issue is bulking up on defense and finding a consistent kicker. Expect them to address the defense with at least one of their three top 75 picks. They’re the favorites to win the NFC North (+140) and heavy favorites to make the playoffs (-205).
Cincinnati Bengals 2025 Super Bowl Odds +1300
Joe Burrow got injured last year and the Bengals still battled to the end before narrowly missing the playoffs. With Burrow back, the 2022 Super Bowl runners-up should be in the mix again this season. They have an opening at running back and need to bolster the defense. Expect them to address those holes with four picks in the top 100 of the Draft. Ultimately this team lives and dies with Burrow’s health. When he’s healthy, the Bengals can beat anyone, including the Chiefs. If he’s not, might as well throw away any Super Bowl tickets you have on them. That’s why their odds aren’t shorter.
Baltimore Ravens 2025 Super Bowl Odds +950
Lamar Jackson returned to MVP-form during the regular season and in the Ravens' win over the Texans in the playoffs. But he struggled in the Ravens' loss to the Chiefs in the AFC championship. Can Baltimore get past Kansas City? Can Jackson stay healthy for another full season? These are the only questions that need answers regarding their chances to win it all. They’re +130 to win the AFC North and -300 to make the playoffs. They'll be competitive to the end.
Kansas City Chiefs 2025 Super Bowl Odds +600
The back-to-back Super Bowl champs are somehow not the favorites to win it all again. Somewhat understandable considering no team has ever won three straight Super Bowls. Somewhat surprising considering the Chiefs have Patrick Mahomes under center. Either way, is there a world where they’re not in contention? Their odds won’t change much between now and Week 1 unless one of their stars gets injured. They do have three picks in the top 100 to build out their roster. With question marks around Rashee Rice following reckless driving charges, a wide receiver pick will likely be made with one of them.
San Francisco 49ers 2025 Super Bowl Odds +550
Given the recent history of teams that lose the Super Bowl struggling the following year, it’s somewhat surprising to see the 49ers atop the Super Bowl odds board. But they do have arguably the most talented roster in the NFL with some of the best skill position players in the league headlining. QB Brock Purdy flashed some brilliance last season but was inconsistent at times, especially in the playoffs. RB Christian McCaffrey had an amazing season. Brandon Aiyuk and Deebo Samuel are maybe the best WR duo out there. George Kittle is a great weapon at TE. But do you think they take a step forward with most of the same group that just fell short in the Super Bowl? Let’s see what happens in the draft and preseason before betting on them. Those odds aren’t going down from where they are.
